From Iquique towards the foothills, we will arrive at the foot of the semi-active volcano Isluga. Then the Salar de Surire natural sanctuary will open to our eyes, which is a water mirror with a great variety of birds and camelids. Later we will discover the Mysterious Red Lagoon, the best kept secret of the Aymara culture in the Chilean highlands.

Itinerary:
DAY 1
Iquique – Giant of Atacama – Geysers of Puchuldiza – Isluga Volcano
Departure at 7:00 a.m. to cross the desert bound for the Unita Hill, where you will meet the world’s largest human figure Geoglyph, the Giant of Atacama, called “Viracocha” in Aymara dialect, which means Andean God.
Then transfer to the Geysers of Puchuldiza, Aravilla Lagoons, and Enquelga and Mauque Andean villages to enjoy its thermal baths and know their Aymara population, crops and more.
Then visit to Isluga National Park to admire its flora and fauna, At the foot of the Volcano.
Transfer to Colchane border town, dinner and lodging.
DAY 2
Surire Salt Flat – Polloquere Hot Springs – Camiña
Breakfast and excursion to Surire Salt Flat, a true photographic Safari of flora, fauna and plateau landscape, to reach the Nature Sanctuary.
As we begin the tour of the Salar visit the Polloquere Hot Springs, sprouting water to 66º C, creating a small emerald green lagoon on the salt crust.
Take a thermal bath and then walk around the Salt Flat admiring its fauna rich in Ñandúes, Suris, Vizcachas, llamas, alpacas and vicuñas.
Return to the South to Red Lagoon area and reach Camiña Ravine.
At night, astronomical observations. Dinner and Lodging in Camiña.
DAY 3
Red Lagoon, Green and Yellow Lakes, Petroglyphs of Chillayza
Breakfast at 07:30 and departure to the Red Lagoon, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape inhabited by different animals and highland villages with Aymara population.
Walk around and visit the Green laggon and The Yellow one, located in the same area.
Box lunch in Camiña and then visit the petroglyphs and pictographs of Chillayza Ravine.
Return to Iquique.
