DAY 1
TRANSFER AIRPOT / HOTEL IN IQUIQUE
Reception, assistance and transfer from airport to Hotel.
DAY 2
CITY TOUR IQUIQUE & SAILING TO THE ESMERALDA BUOY
Departure to the South to visit Hayquique Beach, Grotto of Lourdes Church of Cavancha Peninsula, Theme Park of Cavancha Beach and Panoramic Coastal to May 21th Square.
Walk along Boulevard Baquedano, to see the facade of its Georgian-style houses and admire the Astoreca Palace, an old mansion from the Saltpeter era.
Then Main Square and the Clock Tower of 1877, Municipal Theater’s facade and continue to Esmeralda Ship Replica (outside area), Riquelme Cove (fishermen contact), and Passenger Pier to connect with the boat of the Nautical tour to Esmeralda Buoy, through Fishing boats sector, Jetty Port of Iquique, Sea lions Islet, and arrival the Esmeralda Buoy with a panoramic view of the Monument Unknown Sailor, with an interesting story about the events of the Glorious May 21, 1879.
Transfer to Duty Free Zone for time of shopping or Return to Hotel.
DAY 3
GREAT PICA OASIS + NITRATE GHOST TOWNS TOUR
Tour leaves at 8:30 am crossing the Coastal Range to visit the former nitrate Ghost Towns of Santa Laura and Humberstone (Declared World Heritage, by UNESCO), where saltpeter was exported to Europe and US.
Here visit the typical buildings as the Theatre, Market, General Store, Hospital, School, Tennis court, and more. Then cross Pozo Almonte town to arrive at the Sanctuary of La Tirana (Place of the most important religious party of Chile).
Arrival at the Oasis of Pica to have lunch in a typical restaurant and visit the Church of San Andrés (16th century), the Jurassic Park with its replicas of dinosaurs and typical crafts, and enjoy natural juices of mango and guava, Visit to the Oasis of Matilla, to see the Spanish wine press (18th century) and the Church of San Antonio.
Arrival to Iquique at 19:30 hrs.
DAY 4
TRANSFER HOTEL IN IQUIQUE / AIRPORT
Assistance and Transfer from Hotel to the airport at the agreed time.
