Itinerary:
DAY 1
Iquique – Cariquima – Colchane – Coipasa Salt flat – Uyuni Salt flat
Departure from Iquique to the Salar de Uyuni. On the way visit the Mirador de Chuzmiza, to have refreshments and the town of Cariquima to see crafts.
Arrival to Colchane and lunch in a typical restaurant. Crossing the Chile-Bolivia Border, arriving at the Pisiga Bolivar Control (Bolivia).
We will cross the Salar de Coipasa, in a photographic safari. Arrival at the Hotel de Sal Tayka or similar 3 stars. It is located on the north side of the Salar de Uyuni and near the Tunupa Volcano.
Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2
Uyuni Salt flat – Fish Island (Incawasi) – Forest of Giant cactus
Breakfast and departure to the Fish Island (Incawasi), to take pictures. Here we will spend most of the morning observing its flora and fauna, its traditional giant Cactus and famous corals.
Uyuni is one of the largest salt deserts in the world, formed by the evaporation of ancient seas.
The fauna, vegetation and landscapes of an intense white, their nuances caused by the sunset, are a true spectacle.
Transfer to Hotel, Dinner and lodging.
DAY 3
Isluga volcano national park – Aravilla Lagoons – Hot springs of Enquelga – Giant of Atacama
Breakfast and departure to the Pisiga and Colchane border control, to return to Chile.
Afterwards, Photographic Safari Route in the Isluga National Park and visit to the Lagunas de Aravilla, town of Mauque, the Termas de Enquelga at the foot of the Isluga Volcano.
Picnic lunch and return to Iquique to visit the Atacama Giant Geoglyph and have refreshments.
