Program that connects the Atacama Desert within the Chilean territory, between Arica and San Pedro de Atacama, visiting different and great attractions not to be missed, such as Lake Chungará, the Andean town of Putre, the Geoglyphs of Tiliviche, the Giant Geoglyph of Tarapacá or Atacama , the ghost town of Humberstone (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Pica Oasis in the middle of the desert, the Pintados Geoglyphs Park and the most internationally famous destination in the North of Chile, San Pedro of Atacama.

Itinerary:
DAY 1
ARICA – POCONCHILE – PUTRE – LAGO CHUNGARÁ – ARICA
Full day Excursion to the Lauca National Park, visiting the Geoglyphs of Lluta Valley, Poconchile town, Cardones Ravine and its candelabra cactus, Pucara of Copaquilla and Zapahuira Tambo.
Transfer to Lauca National Park, surrounded by the volcanoes: Parinacota, Pomerape, Quimsachatas and Guallatire, with their permanent fumaroles and fauna such as Alpacas, Vicuñas, Llamas and Vizcachas.
Arrival to Chungara Lake (14,760 ft. above sea level), of diverse birdlife. Visit to the village of Parinacota and Lunch in Putre.
Return to Arica for Lodging.
DAY 2
ARICA – CHIZA GEOGLYPHS – TILIVICHE GEOGLYPHS – GIANT OF ATACAMA – IQUIQUE
Excursion from Arica to Iquique, visiting the Geoglyphs of Chiza and Tiliviche.
Then the Giant of Atacama Geoglyph (the largest human figure in the world), located in Cerro Unita (3,955 ft. above sea level). Box Lunch in Huara village, visiting its Church and Drugstore.
Arrival in Iquique and accommodation.
DAY 3
IQUIQUE – HUMBERSTONE – PICA OASIS – MATILLA OASIS – IQUIQUE
Departure to the former Nitrate Ghost Towns of Humberstone and Santa Laura (declared patrimony of humanity by UNESCO), where the Nitrate was extracted to be exported to Europe and USA.
Then visit the Religious Sanctuary town of La Tirana and arrive at the Oasis of Pica, to have lunch in a typical Restaurant and enjoy its semi-thermal waters and natural juices of the Oasis.
Visit the Jurassic Park with its replicas of dinosaurs and Oasis of Matilla, to know its Spanish Wine Industry of the XVIII Century.
Return to Iquique.
DAY 4
IQUIQUE – TAMARUGAL RESERVE – PINTADOS GEOGLYPHS – QUILLAGUA – SAN PEDRO
Departure from Iquique, visiting the Pintados Geoglyphs Park, which is the largest concentration of rock art in the world, more than 300 figures located in themed panels over the Hills of the Coastal Range.
Box lunch Picnic in Quillagua and visit to the Geoglyphs of Chug Chug and Calama City.
Arrival to San Pedro, leaving the tourists in their lodging place.
