Itinerary
Day 01: Unita Hill, Isluga National Park, Hot Springs of Enquelga.
Departure from Iquique with spectacular view of the Coastal Range and the City. Connect with Panamerican Highway to the North visiting Unita Hill (3,955 ft. above sea level) to watch, in a special landscape the Giant of Atacama Geoglyph (the biggest one in human form of the world). Stop at the Lookout of Chuzmiza Ravine (11,086 ft. above sea level). Cross the Valley of Aroma and geological formations of Mars Valley, then the textile town of Cariquima (11,480 ft. above sea level). Stop at Chile-Bolivia border in Colchane (12,188 ft. above sea level). Visit Isluga National Park to admire its ecosystem and enjoy Enquelga’s Hot springs. Return to Colchane, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Aravilla Lagoons, Surire Salt Flat, Geysers of Puchuldiza.
Breakfast and departure to Isluga National Park, time for Trekking and visit the Andean villages of Mauque and Enquelga, contact with Aymara people and visit their animal pens. Cross Aravilla Lagoons and arrival at Surire Salt Flat (13,972 ft. above sea level), to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife as Vizcachas, Parinas, vicuñas, llamas and alpacas, and impressive surroundings with volcanoes and mountains. Box Lunch, admiring the Salt Flat. At return, visit the Puchuldiza Geysers, to be witness the water flowing from underground forming an iceberg.
Return to Iquique.
