Itinerary
Pick up from the place of lodging at 09:00 am, or at 14:30 hrs. Heading south from San Pedro de Atacama, to visit the Laguna de Tebinquinche, which is part of a group of water mirrors belonging to the Salar de Atacama, located east of the Cordillera de la Sal. You will be able to see this lagoon from a marked path so as not to alter the landscape.
Taking an interesting tour to take photos and enjoy the view of the mountain range, reflected in the lagoon. The shallow depth of its waters coming from discharges located underground, generate an effect similar to a gigantic mirror that reflects the surrounding landscape on its waters.
On the same route, we will find the Ojos del Salar, perfectly circular with very blue fresh waters. Here you will have time to bathe to pass the heat, in addition to enjoying the landscape.
Return to San Pedro de Atacama.
NOTE: Bathing in the Ojos del Salar is temporarily prohibited by Covid-19 prevention health protocols.
