Excursion to the Codpa Oasis
Excursion to an Oasis in the middle of the desert, in the Arica and Parinacota region. Codpa is a town located in the mountains, in the upper course of the Vitor ravine with a mild climate and pure water, which gives rise to its hot springs. Famous is the Pintatani wine, very tasty.

Itinerary
Departure from Hotel in Arica to the Oasis of Codpa, located in the driest desert in the world, a small trickle of water from the Andes with a warm climate make this stream and fertile oasis, which allowed the Spanish conquistadores planting vines for wine making “Pintatani”, which was very appreciated by the nobles of Potosi.
Visit the Church of St. Martin lifted in 1668, crossing the valley visiting small villages like Guañacagua and Petroglyphs of Ofrajía, where ancient inhabitants left us engraved on the stones, hundreds of petroglyphs, with daily and mystical figures themselves of their culture.
