Tour to the Geysers of Tatio
We invite you to discover the Geothermal field linked to the El Tatio volcano, recognized throughout the world for its incredible Geysers, which in El Tatio are jets of steam that emanate from pools of boiling water. It is the most famous geothermal field in Chile. On the way to this experience, you will be able to observe the flora and fauna of the Putana River, as well as a beautiful panoramic view of the Machuca town.

Itinerary
Departure between 4:30 and 5:00 am, from the place of lodging, in San Pedro de Atacama. To travel a total of 99 km approx. until our first stop, in the Tatio Geysers, which are at an approximate height of 4,200 meters above sea level, arriving at dawn and seeing a geothermal show of 80 smoky geysers, next to the volcanoes of the Andes Mountains.
Along with this landscape, we will be able to enjoy a replenishing breakfast, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous columns of steam. We can also visit the rustic pool within the same geothermal field, although for now it is not allowed to bathe in the thermal pool, as a Covid-19 prevention protocol.
Returning to the town of San Pedro de Atacama, we will make a stop in the town of Machuca, where it is possible to buy typical souvenirs of the area and anticuchos with llama meat and typical empanadas with goat cheese.
Return to the town of San Pedro at 12:00 noon.
